Take more chances, dance more dances
Hello, I'm Ilse and I am from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I'm currently in my last year at the University of Applied Science Rotterdam, to become an secondary school biology educator.
Rotterdam is one of the biggest cities in the Netherlands and is home to many different cultures. It has a population of more than 165.000 people (that's more than all of Luxembourg!). Because Rotterdam was completly distroyed in WWII, it's a realativly 'new' city with most of it's buildings only dating back to the 1950's and there are still projects going on today. A major advantage of Rotterdams's fairly new construction is that it has great infrastructure for walking, biking, and public transportation. It's truly an innovative city and proves that as you walk through it with it's anti-car infrastructure and it's 'green' projects that help bring cleaner air and more green in city spaces.
