During the 2022/2023 academic year, I had the opportunity to do an Erasmus semester. I chose Krems, a small city in Austria, for this opportunity. I came here without any expectations. I am more than happy that I made this decision. I found some amazing friends, I was able to learn a lot, not only about Austria, but also about Spain and Romania, as well as Germany. I also learned a lot of valuable skills and had so many experiences during my lessons at school that I'll carry throughout my career and life. I am glad that I was able to do my Erasmus semester here and that KPH welcomed us with open arms. And if you are thinking of doing an Erasmus semester, go for it! You'll regret it later if you don't go.

I recently had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in Krems, Austria and it was an incredible experience. Not only did I have the chance to immerse myself in a new culture and learn about the history and customs of the region, but I also made friendships and developed valuable skills that I will carry with me throughout my career. The support provided by the study abroad program and the staff at the KPH made the transition to living and studying in a foreign country seamless, and I am so grateful for the opportunity. If you are considering a semester abroad, I highly recommend it - it was truly a life-changing experience for me.

Before starting my Erasmus during the 2022/2023 academic year, I had never been to Austria, although it is a country that has always caught my attention and that I have wanted to visit for years. Once I have come and discovered a little bit of Austria, specifically Krems, I have to admit that it is not as I expected, but I was not disappointed either. Austria has a different rhythm of life than Spain, which I am getting used to and enjoying. What I like the most is the location, because thanks to being here I have been able to visit different places in Austria and other countries. It is being an experience to get to know myself, more people and the world. I was able to learn more about the culture of this country and its educational system. I have met wonderful people with whom I have traveled to different countries such as Slovenia, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia or Hungary. In conclusion, I recommend the experience since I believe that it helps you to be more independent and to know other cultures.
