Hi I'm Ilse, a twenty-one year old student for Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
At the moment I am in my last year as at the Applied University of Science in Rotterdam to become a biology teacher. Throughout my studies thus far, I've been able to gain two years of teaching experience with different leveled classes.

Besides my study, I fill my daily live with:
- Sports, especially Handball. I've played it for more than 5 years now.
- Creative activities. It doesn't matter if its drawing, painting, making music, singing or crocheting.
- Reading. When I find time for it I like to read. I enjoy scientific articles in the field of biology or psychology, books, or manga.
- Movies and series. I like to watch a good movie or series. Especially with my boyfriend, we watch tons of movies.
- Going out. I like going to new places, it doesn't matter if its a cinema, restaurant, or other activity. I like to explore new places with family, friends, or even alone.
- Travel. I have traveled to many places, mostly in Europe. Most of my previous travelling experience has been with my family, but since my exchange program I also enjoy traveling alone. I'd like to travel more internationally with my boyfriend in the future, but for now it's been nice seeing more of the Netherlands and exploring my home. Travelling in general helps you to better understand the world as a whole through the lens of different cultures.

I'm always busy, but I enjoy it a lot.
